Ages 6-9 SUMMER POTTERY KIDS CLASSES - 4 Week Courses

Ages 6-9 Summer Pottery Kid's Classes! This 4 Week course is led by 2 skilled instructors who will guide your kids through a hands-on clay experience! Kids will learn and apply multiple hand-building clay techniques while they complete 1-2 clay projects from start to finish.

JUNE SESSION - TUESDAYS 10:00-12:00pm

6/3 - Week 1 - Kids will learn multiple hand-building techniques and be introduced to clay, clay tools, and guided through designing and building their clay creations. 

6/10 - Week 2 - Kids will continue working on their projects and begin choosing glaze colors for their creations. 

6/17 - Week 3 - Kids will glaze and decorate their creations and prepare them for the final firing. 

6/24 - Week 4 - Pottery unveiling, show & tell, and pickup party! Parent's are welcome to stay and participate! 

JULY SESSION - THURSDAYS 10:00-12:00pm

7/10 - Week 1 - Kids will learn multiple hand-building techniques and be introduced to clay, clay tools, and guided through designing and building their clay creations. 

7/17 - Week 2 - Kids will continue working on their projects and begin choosing glaze colors for their creations. 

7/24 - Week 3 - Kids will glaze and decorate their creations and prepare them for the final firing. 

7/31 - Week 4 - Pottery unveiling, show & tell, and pickup party! Parent's are welcome to stay and participate! 

This course is a total of 8 hours (4 sessions 2hrs each). This is a hand-building workshop, kids will not be using the wheel. Address: 125 S. Batavia Ave, Batavia, IL 60510

*There will be 2 staff on site at all times during this workshop. Children must be dropped off and picked up on time. Once registration is complete, parents will receive a form via email for allergies, emergency contact information, and a waiver. Form must be filled out and returned before class start on the 1st day. There are 10 spots available for this course - the course will run with a min of 6 registrations. The course will be canceled if a 6th registrant is not signed up within a week of the first date. An email will be sent and refund issued in full if the course will not run. Firing for max 2 pieces is included in registration cost.
