SUMMER POTTERY KIDS CAMP - Ages 6-13

2 Week Kids Pottery Camp! This course is led by skilled instructors who will guide your kids through a hands-on clay experience! Kids will create multiple projects using hand-building, sculpting, and wheel throwing techniques. Sessions will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am-2pm meeting 4 times over the course of 2 weeks. Please send a sack lunch with your kids each day. 

When registering, please include your child's name and age in the comments area. 

Day 1 - Kids will learn multiple hand-building techniques and be introduced to clay, clay tools, and guided through designing and building their clay creations. We will break for lunch and learn sculpting techniques in the afternoon

Day 2 - Kids will continue working on their projects from Day 1. After lunch, kids will learn how to throw clay on the wheel! 

Day 3 - During this day, kids will learn more about different types of pottery and how clay is fire. In the afternoon kids will participate in a mini "pottery throw down" competition & games 

Day 4 - Kid's will get their bisqued projects back from the kiln and will learn all about different glazing and decorating techniques to finish their projects. 

JUNE SESSION - 6/2, 6/4, 6/9, & 6/11

JULY SESSION - 7/7, 7/9, 7/14, & 7/16

*Children must be dropped off and picked up on time. Parents will be required to fill out a form for allergies, emergency contact information, and a waiver during drop off on day one.
