6 Week Throwing Courses

6 Week Throwing Crash Course. Beginner and Intermediate friendly (I can scale up the skills learned based on your personal skill level). Access to weekly open studio hours included. Learn the basics of throwing pottery from start to finish in a relaxed small group setting! 

Week 1 - Throwing: Centering & mid-throw correction

Week 2 - Throwing: Shaping & throwing intentional forms

Week 3 - Trimming/Handles/Attachments/Alterations

Week 4 - Surface Design Techniques & Throwing Continued

Week 5 - Altering Thrown Pieces & Trimming

Week 6 - Glazing

Make up 'flex' day available by request for anyone who could not attend one of the weeks above

*Once you finish your pieces, they will be fired in our off-site kiln. Pickup will be coordinated when they are ready! There are 8 spots available - the course will run with a min of 4 registrations. The course will be canceled if a 4th registrant is not signed up within a week of the first date. You will be refunded in full if the course is canceled. Firing for 12 pieces is included in registration cost. Glaze and Firing for additional pieces is $8/piece.
